How much does it cost to list a travel product?
Listing on SpareHolidays is completely free. We charge buyers a tiered platform fee: 10% under €500, 8% up to €1500, 6% up to €3000, 5% above — you keep 100% of your asking price.
What types of travel can I sell?
You can sell flights, hotel bookings, travel vouchers, train tickets, bus tickets, car rentals, and cruises. As long as you have a valid booking confirmation, you can list it.
How do I get paid?
Once a buyer confirms they received the booking transfer, the escrowed payment is released to your connected Stripe account. Funds typically arrive within 24 hours.
What if the buyer doesn't confirm?
If the buyer doesn't confirm or dispute within 72 hours after the travel date, payment is automatically released to you. You are protected throughout.
Do I need ID verification to sell?
Yes. ID verification is required before your first listing goes live. This protects buyers and builds trust, which means your listings sell faster.

What's the seller fee on resale vacations and how do payouts work?+
SpareHolidays takes a flat seller fee only when a deal completes — no listing fee, no monthly subscription. Payouts go through Stripe Connect to your bank account once the buyer confirms the transferred booking. Typical end-to-end timing is 24–72 hours from buyer payment: name change with the supplier, buyer verification, escrow release. You keep up to 80% of the buyer's payment after fees.
Is SpareHolidays the platform formerly known as Sparefare / Spare Fair?+
Yes. SpareHolidays is the rebrand of Sparefare (also misspelled 'sparefare travel' or 'spare fair' in search). The seller workflow is unchanged in principle — list, get a buyer, transfer the booking — with stronger trust controls: every seller is verified through Stripe Identity before listing, and every payout runs through Stripe Connect escrow rather than direct bank transfer.
