Booking.com voucher resale

Got a Booking.com gift card or credit you won't use? Sell it here.

Booking.com credits sit in accounts losing relevance because nobody told you you could sell them. Gift cards from a birthday, refund credits that didn't quite cover the rebooking, promotional vouchers from a price-match claim — list them here and recover most of the value.

Stripe escrow. ID-verified buyers. The 10% buyer fee is paid by the buyer — your asking price arrives in full.

We're not a Booking.com competitor. We're the secondary market.

Booking.com is the largest hotel booking platform in the world. We are not trying to replace it and you should still book your next trip there if that's what you want. The gap we fill is different: when you have a Booking.com gift card you won't use, or a credit you can't redeem on a stay that fits your dates, the secondary market for that asset is approximately nowhere.

We are that secondary market. Stripe escrow holds the buyer's money until they confirm the gift card or credit works. ID-verified buyers, structured dispute window, the whole standard marketplace setup — applied to a thin asset class that nobody else takes seriously.

Use Booking.com when

You want to book a hotel directly with all of Booking.com's inventory, price-match guarantee, and Genius loyalty perks.

Use SpareHolidays when

You hold a Booking.com gift card or credit you won't redeem and want cash back instead of letting it sit in your account forever.

How gift card and credit resale works

Four steps. Listing is free. Stripe escrow handles the money.

Step 1

List the gift card or credit

Upload a screenshot of the credit balance in your account, or the PDF gift card. Capture the value, the expiry rules, and any redemption restrictions Booking.com applies.

Step 2

Set your price

Booking.com gift cards typically resell 15-30% below face value. Buyers can also send offers — accept or counter from your dashboard.

Step 3

Buyer pays into escrow

Stripe holds the payment. You don't share the gift card code until the money is locked. The buyer has been Stripe Identity-verified before they can buy.

Step 4

Forward + escrow releases

Send the code through the in-app message. The buyer applies it to their next booking and confirms it worked. Stripe releases the funds to your bank, minus our standard fee.

Why this is safer than reselling on a Reddit thread

The reason most people never try gift card resale is the trust gap. Escrow + ID verification closes it.

Escrow

Buyer's money is held by Stripe until they confirm the code works. No "sent it, never heard back" failure mode that haunts forum sales.

Verified buyers

Every buyer passes Stripe Identity before they can purchase. No throwaway accounts grabbing codes and ghosting.

7-day dispute window

If the code doesn't apply, the dispute lives in your dashboard. We review the evidence — usually a Booking.com error screenshot — and resolve it inside the window.

We've answered this before

Gift card resale feels strange the first time. Sellers email us with questions before they list. We don't mind. Most replies land same day.
