Listings are typically priced 30–60% below the original purchase price.

How do resale vacations work — am I buying the actual booking?+

Yes. Resale vacations on SpareHolidays are real bookings being transferred from the original buyer to you, not vouchers, credits, or referrals. After payment, the seller initiates a name change with the airline, hotel or operator (where the supplier permits transfer); once the new confirmation lands in your inbox and you verify it matches your name and dates, escrow releases to the seller. If the supplier blocks the transfer, you're refunded automatically.

If you searched 'verkaufe Reise' (German for 'I'm selling a trip'), SpareHolidays lets you list any unused booking you can no longer use — flights, hotels, packages, vouchers — and recover up to 80% of the original price. Listing is free; we charge a flat seller fee only when the deal completes. Buyers pay via escrow, so funds are released to you only after they confirm the transferred booking.
