As of July 2026, TUI Airways charges a flat £50 (or €50) per person per booking to change the name on a flight-only booking, with the change applied to all segments. A TUI package holiday can be transferred to another person entirely, provided you give at least 7 days' written notice and the new lead passenger accepts TUI's terms — which makes an unwanted TUI booking one of the most resalable in UK travel.

TUI Airways flight-only: the £50 flat fee

TUI Airways' Conditions of Carriage set the name-change fee at £50 per person per booking (€50 if you pay in euros), as a flat fee at any time. Two details matter: the change must apply to all segments of the booking (you cannot rename just the outbound leg), and flight-only name changes are processed by phone or in a TUI store rather than online self-service — so do not leave it to the final days.

TUI package holidays: transfer the whole booking

Package bookings play by kinder rules. Under TUI's package booking conditions — and the statutory transfer right in the Package Travel Directive 2015/2302 — you may transfer your holiday to another person if you give at least 7 days' notice in writing or by email, and the new lead passenger accepts the transfer and TUI's terms.

Selling a TUI booking you can't use
